2023-217-RZ, Public Hearing Waiver Procedures Bylaw No. 7954-2023, Public Hearing Procedures Amending Bylaw No. 7969-2023, Council Procedures Amending Bylaw No. 7977-2023, Criteria for Waiving Public Hearing and Notification Process
To update the Public Hearing process which includes modifying criteria for waiving of a Public Hearing, increased notification radius, and amendments to Council Procedures to strengthen public feedback process.

RECOMMENDATION:
That staff report dated November 7, 2023, titled “First, Second, and Third Reading, Public Hearing Waiver Procedures Bylaw No. 7954-2023, Public Hearing Procedures Amending Bylaw No. 7969-2023, Council Procedures Amending Bylaw No. 7977-2023, Criteria for Waiving Public Hearing and Notification Process” be forwarded to the Council Meeting of November 14, 2023.

Application is to allow a temporary accessory off-street parking use at the subject property.

RECOMMENDATION:
That staff report dated November 7, 2023, titled “Temporary Use Permit 2022-457-RZ, 12035 222 Street” be forwarded to the Council Meeting of November 14, 2023.

2023-240-RZ, 11957 and 11965 York Street and 11956 and 11970 220 Street, RS-1 to RM-2
To permit the future construction of a six-storey apartment building with approximately 119 dwelling units, and two levels of underground parking.

RECOMMENDATION:
That staff report dated November 7, 2023, titled “First Reading, Zone Amending Bylaw No. 7967-2023, 11957 and 11965 York Street and 11956 and 11970 220 Street” be forwarded to the Council Meeting of November 14, 2023.

2023-203-DP/DVP, 23532 Larch Avenue, Development Permit and Development Variance Permit.
To extend the time by which substantial commencement of this product is to take place from December 15, 2023 to December 15, 2025.

RECOMMENDATION:
That staff report dated November 7, 2023, titled “Development Permit & Development Variance Permit (Extension), 23532 Larch Avenue” be forwarded to the Council Meeting of November 14, 2023.

Updates to Council Code of Conduct, Proposed Amendments to Maple Ridge Council Remuneration Bylaw No. 7330-2017, Creation of Solemn Oath of Office
To incorporate an Integrity Commission function within the Code of Conduct, adoption of a bylaw that incorporates adherence to the Code of Conduct in the oath or solemn affirmation of office, and amendments to the Remuneration Bylaw to reduce a member’s remuneration based upon the Integrity Commission’s finding of a breach of the Code of Conduct.

RECOMMENDATION:
That staff report dated November 7, 2023, titled “Updates to Council Code of Conduct, Proposed Amendments to Maple Ridge Council Remuneration Bylaw No. 7330-2017, Creation of Solemn Oath of Office” be forwarded to the Council Meeting of November 14, 2023.
